V. F. Pavone Construction Company is a Class A General Contracting firm that has served Northern Virginia since 1971. What sets us apart is simple: when you work with Pavone, you work with the Pavones. Ownership is directly involved in every project; in the field, on the phone, and at the table when decisions get made.
We approach every project with a collaborative mindset, understanding that aligning the entire project team around a common goal creates the foundation for project success. The relationships we have built over the years remain a cornerstone of our company and a key part of our continued success.
We run a straightforward procurement process. We engage subcontractors early, work with the same trusted partners project after project, and carry the numbers we bid. Our goal is accurate budgets from the start, not a low number to win the job and a change order to recover it.
V. F. Pavone Construction was founded in 1971 with a straightforward mission: deliver quality commercial construction with integrity and accountability.
Over 50 years later, that mission hasn’t changed. What has changed is the scale and depth of our experience, from small tenant interiors to 200,000 SF institutional buildings, and the strength of the relationships we’ve built along the way.

The Team Behind Every Project
Roy began with V. F. Pavone Construction in 1980 as a laborer and worked his way through the ranks to carpenter, superintendent, and general superintendent of field operations while moving into estimating and project management. He has served as company president since 2004, overseeing all company functions including operations, procurement, and project management.

Keely joined V. F. Pavone Construction in 1985 through a work-study program and accepted a full-time position the following year. Over the next decade she expanded her responsibilities across all financial functions and assumed full oversight of the company’s financial operations in 2000. For over 25 years she has managed payroll, job-cost tracking, subcontract payments, change orders, and insurance administration.

Nick began with the company working as a laborer during summers while in high school and joined full-time in 2013 after completing his BS in Civil Engineering Technology and a Minor in Construction Management from Old Dominion University. He worked his way through the ranks and supervised some of the company’s largest projects before transitioning into his current role in estimating and project management.

Jake began with the company as a laborer during the summers while in high school and joined full-time in 2013. He worked his way through the ranks as a carpenter, assistant superintendent, and superintendent, building a complete understanding of construction from the ground up. His end-to-end field experience makes him especially effective at trade scheduling and field coordination across new and renovation work.
